I have not attempted to bring all the Steg genealogy, which is substantial.
This is to be found mostly in the second volume of Mahane Yehudah.

* The Rav's year of death is from Meorei Galicia, but Rav Meir Wunder has not been able to bring me a citation for this year.

Each quote is preceded (in blue) by the location of the source, and is followed (in yellow) by an explanation.
In between, we show the original, with a translation into English and a transcription into standard Hebrew script.
Special thanks to Ran London for the scanning.
The quality of the scanned text as presented here reflects my attempt
to keep loading time reasonable.  I can send you better quality images if you like.

All the information in these pages is based on the old library editions of Rav Juda Gershon Pickholz' books.
These books are now available in a single hardcover edition, republished in the United States.
The new edition is missing the last twelve pages of Mahaneh Yehudah, Part Two,
but it has the distinct advantage of not falling part in your hands.
