Turei Zahav is a major halachic work written by
Rabbi David ben Samuel HaLevi (1586-1667) and called popularly the TaZ.
Nathan Tersuhow is apparently a descendant and "Tersuhow"
is probably a slightly distorted version of "Turei Zahav."
So the arch is basically the original Hebrew form of
the family name.
