A brief report of two recent deaths.

Jacob Laor's mother Marta Pikholz Schein died yesterday morning at age 
ninety-five.  The funeral was today.  Her father was from Zbarazh but she 
herself was born in Krakow.  Most of her family were killed in the 
Holocaust.  She married David Schein after the war and they came to 
Israel with their son Jacob in 1957.  

Four weeks ago, Aryeh Linden died.  He was Marta's first cousin, but 
there has been no contact for some years.  We have been trying to locate 
Aryeh for the last couple of years, without success.  He was ninety-two.

May we have better news next time.
