Just a few quick things to close out the old year.

Mazal tov to Judi and Haim Bohm (PITTSBURGH family) on the birth of 
granddaughter Ruth Chaya and Jay and Roz Weiss (IF2 family) on the birth 
of as yet unnamed grandson.

Also mazal tov to Avi Meshar (PETAH TIQVA family) on his recent marriage, 
to Gadi Pickholz (IF1 & IF4 families) on the marriage of his daughter 
Nalani.

Belated condolences to Avi Meshar on the passing of his mother, nineteen 
months ago.

My article "In the matter of THE MEMORY OF CHAIM MENDEL PICKHOLZ 
vs ASSICURAZIONI GENERALI S.p.A. " was in the August issue of Sharsheret

A member of the Skalat family KCMO recently ran found a photo of their 
grandmother (b. 1895) with an unknown woman and three children.  Perhaps 
one of you will recognize someone or at least see a family resemblance.  
The photo appears at http://www.pikholz.org/MysteryPhoto.jpg - and the 
known Pikholz descendant is the one standing.  I'd guess it was taken in 
the 1930's or early 1940's.

So let me bid farewell to 5767 and wish you all the best for 5768.  May 
you and your families be written and sealed in the Book of Life.  And may 
we continue to be in touch.
