in the 1910 and 1920 census 
as wife of Ruben 
Rochester, originally Rechister..

We also have their passenger lists.

In Declaration of Intent, Ruben says he was
born 1864 in Bratzlav and she in 1870
in Nemirow. Death record says she was born 1868.

Nellie probably had a brother Moses.
 

 Rochester family 
is still in KCMO in 
1920, but all 
but eldest daughter and eldest son
went to Pomona California in about 1923.

We have death records for Nellie (1931) and 
Ruben (1927), but no parents' names, other
than "Mary Elsie" as Nellie's mother, which is
certainly a back-translation..
